I remember the first yellow room I ever saw was when I was a freshman in high school. It belonged to a family friend and had been designed by Carlton Varney. I was sold on yellow interiors from that moment on! Years later when I had the privilege of meeting Mr.Varney, I told him what an impact that yellow room had on a young girl with decorating in her blood.

This is one of my favorite yellow rooms. The hand painted walls, antiques, and wonderful mix of checked fabrics make it a delightful space!
